Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms cover your use of Kachá ("the app") during its private beta. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the app is
Kachá is a personal budget, habits, tasks and shared-expenses app for iPhone. It is in a private beta: it can change, have bugs, or be interrupted, and features may be added or removed.
Your account
- You need an account to use the app, and you must give accurate information.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings, Delete Account. See how to delete your account.
Your data
- Your budget, habits and tasks data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership and use it only to run the app, as described in the privacy policy.
- Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; during the beta the app is provided best-effort. You can export your data from Settings, Your data.
- Split groups are shared by design: what you add to a group (expenses, payments, names you type for other people) is visible to its other members. Enter only what the person would expect.
Fair use
Don't misuse the app: don't try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or use it for anything unlawful. We may limit or suspend an account that does.
No financial advice
Kachá is a budgeting, habits and tasks tool, not financial, tax or professional advice. Decisions you make from what you see in the app are your own.
No warranty and limited liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the app, which during the beta is nothing.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms or end the beta; if the terms change materially we will update this page and its date. You can stop using the app at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia.
